My Approach

I believe there is no one way, to find catharsis and self-compassion.  My intention and therapeutic curiosity is simple, how do you want to heal? I aim to hold space, first and foremost with genuine and creative empathy.  We will dialogue and explore the emotional terrain utilizing narrative, somatics/embodiment, and trauma-informed therapeutic techniques. All this is woven into a hodgepodge of expressive arts integration opportunities where we will create, move, ritualize, and even laugh together.

I believe in moving at the speed of trust. What this looks like is entirely up to you. It takes courage to show up and share yourself with another human. I aim to foster curiosity in moments of stagnation and patience when deepening our understanding of perceptions. I’ve observed how perfection can be the enemy of progress and change requires equal parts action and understanding. I believe we are all capable of healing, but how and what that looks like is entirely customizable.  There is magic in vulnerability.  It is my job to ensure the space, safety and resources you require to harmonizing with your healing journey.

In addition to working with private clients and organizations, I have volunteered as a training professional clinical counselor at the Liberation Institute, and the Shanti Project and currently work as an associate professional clinical counselor at New Perspectives Center for Counseling in San Francisco.
